Place a few drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball
and place inside odorous shoes to freshen them up.

Place a few drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball
or cosmetic sponge and place inside your vacuum bag or canister
to diffuse a fresh, clean scent in the air while vacuuming.
· Place a few drops of essential oils inside a spray bottle
with water to mist the air as a quick way to freshen and disinfect
your rooms. Eucalyptus oil is especially good for this job and can
be mixed with lemon, sweet orange, peppermint and lavender for a
beautiful scent combination.

Mix a combination of water and a few drops of essential oil in a
spray bottle and spritz into your garbage can to disinfect, deodorize
and refresh your can each time you change your garbage bag.

Place a few drops of essential oil onto the rim or into the bowl
of your toilet to disinfect or refresh your bathroom between flushes.

Place a drop or two of essential oil inside the cardboard of your
toilet tissue roll. It will keep your bathroom smelling fresh and
clean with each roll of the tissue.

Mix 12-15 drops of essential oil to one box of sodium bicarbonate
(baking soda) and mix with a pastry cutter or wire whisk until thoroughly
mixed. Then sprinkle lightly onto your carpets and vacuum thoroughly.
This makes a great carpet freshener.

Make a light mixture of essential oil using a few drops of lavender
and distilled water and place in a spritzer bottle. Lightly mist
your pillows and bed sheets (avoid using on silk sheets) at bedtime
for a relaxing night of sleep.

Revive potpourri that has lost its scent by adding a few drops of
essential oils and mixing together well.

Add a few drops of essential oils to your laundry to give a clean,
fresh scent to your clothing. Aromalogics recommends using only
clear colored oils with your fabrics, such as peppermint; otherwise,
you risk staining your clothing.
